The amount of people needed for deploying and operating our USVs depends on the size of your vessel. For the Otter USV, we recommend a minimum of two persons to ensure safe deployment. Once the vessel has been deployed, only 1 operator is needed to complete the mission. For our larger USV portfolio, like the Mariner and Mariner X, we recommend at least 3 people during the deployment and 1-2 persons operating from the control station.
For more information on how to prepare your vessel for its mission, the deployment documentation is available in your personal vessel folder at sky.usv.no.
Our system supports several data formats for exporting and sharing data collected using your Maritime Robotics USV. The 3 main formats we support are s7k(Teledyne), s7k(Norbit) and kmall(Kongsberg).
