Throughout numerous offshore trials and deployments in 2016, Maritime Robotics and Seabed GeoSolutions have quietly been qualifying the Mariner USV to become a revolutionary tool for their seismic operation. Early 2017 a long-term contract was signed, and the Mariner USV is now a standard component in Seabed Geosolutions toolbox for seismic exploration.
This is really an amazing realization of our business proposal: USVs aiding manned operation, reducing cost and reducing HSE risk exposure.
