Date: November 8, 2017, Location: Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel i Oslo
At the conference you will meet high level technology decision makers in the petroleum industry to discuss the continued importance of technology and innovation to value creation in Norway and on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
The theme for this year`s OG21-forum is:”Collaboration for a technological change of pace”
Breakeven prices on the Norwegian Continental Shelf have been reduced. But important competition like US shale oil have also improved their efficiency, and the NCS competitiveness is challenged.
Collaboration on the use of new technology strengthen our competitive position, but collaboration also has its challenges. One dilemma we’re facing is that strategic alliances drive innovation through better access to competence and ideas, but alliances may also hamper innovation due to reduced competition and locked in technologies. How will alliances and new collaboration models impact your company?
This and more dilemmas will be presented and discussed at OG21-forum, November 8th. Join us at the conference and let your voice be heard!
Among the speakers this year:
- Terje Søviknes, Minister of Petroleum and Energy
- Margareth Øvrum, Executive Vice President, Statoil
- Matthias Heilmann, Chief Digital Officer, GE oil & gas
- Geir Håøy, Chief Executive Officer, Kongsberggruppen
- Kristin Færøvik, Managing Director, Lundin
New this year is the exhibition of technologies for the future, for example the novel AUV from Eelume and the wave glider from Maritime Robotics.
OG21-forum will this year be held in Norwegian, but with Norwegian to English interpretation services for the morning sessions.
