OPV (Oil On Water) 2016
This week Maritime Robotics and NOFO (Norwegian Clean Seas Association for Operating Companies), attended the OPV 2016 – (Olje På Vann / Oil On Water 2016)
The goal for this test was to train on personell cooperation, handling of advanced oil safety equipment, and test the readiness against acute contamination. What was special about this year’s “Oil on Water” is that it included rarely proven control methods as burning thin oil films.
Maritime Robotics attended the test with seven of our surveillance systems. One Telemetron (USV), three Multicopters (UAS), and three OceanEye®systems (MBS).
